YOUTH GROUPS
Established in 1992, thousands of children and young people have visited Brenscombe with the majority of schools returning to us each year. Some enjoy residential programmes, while others come just for the day.
All our visitors love the local environment, from the dramatic sea cliffs to the tranquility of Poole Harbour, and the range of outdoor activities on our doorstep. We have a strong team of permanent staff, who are supported by experienced seasonal staff, many of whom return for multiple years.

OUR APPROACH
Our approach is to provide real outdoor activity experiences balancing safety, fun, learning and challenge. We utilise our woodland and field as well as the wider landscape of Purbeck Heath National Nature Reserve, Poole Harbour and the Jurassic Coast. Our watersports are based from Cleavel Point, our private access into Poole Harbour.
We actively create time to enjoy, understand and respect the environments we explore, rather than rush from activity to activity. Our instructors are flexible in their approach, ensuring we provide engaging experiences to meet the needs of your group.
Our exciting range of activities and excellent facilities in a stunning environment combine with our staff team to ensure Brenscombe provides:

RESIDENTIALS
Brenscombe Outdoor Centre has capacity for groups of up to 160 in number to stay on site in various accommodation packages. Residential stays at Brenscombe provide fantastic opportunities to explore Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast whilst participating in our range of quality outdoor activities.
The centre is a short drive away from local towns and amenities, far enough to feel remote yet close enough for teachers to pop out for something if need be.
Our residentials can be tailored to your requirements to ensure you achieve the right balance and level of activity for your group. Whether you are looking for a multi-activity experience or a programme with an emphasis on team working or personal development we can work with you to design the ideal residential.
